Here Jewish marriages are sanctified, babies are named, and the religious education of our youth provided. Bar and Bat Mitzvah ceremonies have marked our children's transitions into religious adulthood. It has also been a meeting place for dealing with community and world issues that have affected the lives of its members. It has memorialized departed members and offered consolation to their families. Beth Isaiah's neighbourly open door policy invites and welcomes guests of all religions and traditions to visit its premises and join in various celebrations throughout the year. With an outstretched hand it shares insights into the spiritual and cultural concepts and practices brought to the Royal City by the Congregation's founders and maintained by the many generations that have followed.
