 MEC Buycott
Anti-Israel groups will be holding a demonstration at all Mountain Equipment Co-op stores this weekend, to once again protest MEC's Israel purchasing policies. You can show your support for the member-owned MEC and Israel by shopping at the King St. store this Sunday! Click here for location and hours.
Coincidentally, we'll all be in the neighbourhood attending the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit. If you're unable to make it in person, please go to the Mountain Equipment Co-op website and make purchases online from now until December 19, 2009. The attachment included with this newsletter lists all Israeli-made products carried by MEC. You may use this list in person at their store or search for the product name or item number on their website.

ROM Visit -- Meeting Times and Take the Bus from Guelph!
We have organized a bus to take us down to the ROM. Sit back and enjoy the ride in the company of friends. Save on gas and parking!

11:00 Bus picks up people from Beth Jacob Synagogue in KW
11:30 Bus picks us up at Beth Isaiah Synagogue, 47 Surrey St. W. Please arrive 15 min early.
1:00 Arrive at the ROM. Meet up with other synagogue participants who drove inside the front entrance.
1:30 Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit entry. If you are meeting us at the ROM, please ensure you have reserved for the 1:30 exhibit time.
