Adult Ed – Guelph’s Jewish History
July 26 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
For more than a century, Jews have been settling in Guelph, bringing their unique customs, traditions, foods and perspective to the Royal City. Whether they came from as near as Toronto or as far as Eastern Europe, Jews have played an important role in Guelph’s development, particularly in the downtown area. Beth Isaiah has played a starring role in that story. In the Programs Committee’s next monthly Zoom session, several longtime Beth Isaiah members will describe what Guelph Jewish life was like back when Jewish-run shops filled the downtown corridor and the synagogue buzzed with activity. Please join us for the history lesson and discussion on Sunday, July 26th at 7 p.m.
